Tripura Budget Allocates ₹914.82 Crore for TTAADC, Focus on Tribal Development

Santana Chakma has welcomed key allocations in the Tripura Budget 2026–27 aimed at empowering indigenous communities. Tura : A powerful hailstorm hit Tura and surrounding areas around 3 a.m. on Sunday, causing widespread damage to houses, vehicles and agricultural fields. The storm was reportedly the third spell of intense weather during the night , bringing unusually large hailstones, with some residents claiming they were as big as golf balls .
